Liverpool scores their 7,000th goal as they beat Sheffield United in EPL

Liverpool ended a run of four successive English Premier League defeats and scored their 7,000th goal as they beat Sheffield United 2-0 this morning.

Sheffield’s Kean Bryan scored an own goal to give Liverpool their 7,000th goal in the second half.

Curtis Jones had scored the first goal in the match.

Liverpool is only the second team to achieve that landmark while rivals, Everton have scored 7,108 goals.

In other matches this morning, Manchester United and Chelsea finished the match at 0-0, Tottenham beat Burnley 4-0, Arsenal beat Leicester City 3-1 while Crystal Palace and Fulham also finished the match scoreless.
