Live tsunami siren testing from 11am today

There will be live tsunami siren testing done from 11am to 12pm today.

The locations are Water Authority of Fiji Kinoya Sewerage Plant, FINTEL - Vatuwaqa, RFMF Officers Training School - Vatuwaqa, USP Statham Campus, USP Main Campus, USP Lower Campus, My Suva Park, FNU Nasese Building, iTaukei Affairs Building , SCC Civic Car Park Rooftop, Biosecurity, Renown Street - Suva Central, Government Shipping Services - Walu Bay and Lami Town

The National Disaster Management Office says people will not be required to evacuate.

They can use the siren test to identify and test their evacuation procedures in terms of designated tsunami safe route and safe assembly areas/zone.
