Suva demolish Namosi 37-12 at the ANZ Stadium

Defending Skipper Cup champion, Suva has defeated Namosi 37-12 in their Skipper Cup match at the ANZ Stadium this afternoon.

Namosi is the current holder of the Farebrother Sullivan Trophy.

Namosi's inside centre, Kalaveti Ravouvou scored the first try of the match in the 7th minute.

The conversion by Namosi fullback Alivereti Veitokani was unsuccessful.

Suva replied with a try soon after in the 11th minute as number 8 James Brown crossed over under the posts.

The conversion by Serupepeli Vularika is good.

Namosi's second try was by outside centre Onisi Ratave.

He scored through an intercept pass.

Suva flanker Taniela Sadrugu scored in the 25th minute.

The conversion goes through.

Four tries already in the match.

Suva's blindside flanker Meli Derenalagi scores in the corner.

This is Suva's third try in the match.

There was a breach in the Namosi defence, the players completed their passes and after a timely offload, Derenalagi crossed over in the corner.

The conversion by Vularika is unsuccessful.

Namosi is now playing with 14 players only as flyhalf Cyril Reece is yellow carded for a shoulder charge.

A 35th-minute penalty kick by Serupepeli Vularika extends Suva's lead to 22-12.

Suva wing Keponi Paul is also shown a yellow card.

Malele misses the penalty kick.

Fullback Setareki Raoba crosses over for Suva.

Vularika misses the conversion.

Apisalome Vota seals the deal with a try in the 77th minute.

This means Suva scored six tries in the match compared to the two tries by Namosi.
