Christians in Fiji and around the world are today observing Good Friday.

Good Friday commemorates the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.

While speaking during the Holy Thursday Mass, the Head of the Catholic Church in Fiji, Archbishop Peter Loy Chong says let us reflect at the times that we have failed, especially to love one another and ask God to forgive our sins.

Archbishop Chong says during the Lord’s Supper, Jesus Christ gave them the most important commandment, and that is to love one another as we love ourselves.

He adds this will be shown by washing each other's feet in a symbolic way.
