Lelean classrooms destroyed in fire

A fire destroyed three classrooms at the Lelean Memorial School in Davuilevu last night.

Nausori police have confirmed that a report was received at around 9:55 last night and by the time fire fighters and police arrived at the scene, the three wooden classrooms were fully engulfed in flames.

The classrooms were on the block B side of the school.

The emergency call was made by the school pastor. Investigations are now underway to ascertain the cause of the blaze.
