Prime Minister, Sitiveni Rabuka’s appointment of Deputy Prime Minister and SODELPA Leader, Viliame Gavoka as Minister for Education has been gazetted.
The gazette states that in exercise of the powers vested in the Prime Minister under section 92 (3) of the Constitution, he has assigned all the responsibilities of the Minister for Education to Gavoka from the 22nd of January this year.
The legal process has moved forward although dismissed Minister, Aseri Radrodro had made a public apology and requested to be reinstated as the Minister for Education.
