Lautoka High Court to hear case of Chinese nationals allegedly found with 800g meth

The case where two Chinese nationals who were allegedly found with methamphetamine last week has been transferred to the Lautoka High Court.

Wang An and Xu Qiang were allegedly in possession of about 800 grams of methamphetamine in Namaka, Nadi.

They have been jointly charged with one count of unlawful possession of illicit drugs.

An and Qiang are suspected of being connected to the eight people charged and produced in court in the Southern Division.

They have been further remanded, with the matter to be called in the Lautoka High Court on Monday.
