Health Minister, Doctor Ifereimi Waqainabete says they are carrying out a feasibility study and reviewing whether the Ministry needs to buy a new boiler for the CWM Hospital.

A fire in May last year destroyed the laundry on the ground floor and boiler in the basement.

Laundry services at the CWM Hospital are currently outsourced to a private laundry company.

Urns and kettles are also being used to boil water at wards at the CWM Hospital.

Waqainabete says the biggest component that used the boiler at the hospital was the laundry service.
