Lau Trader expected to set sail
The Lau Trader is expected to set sail and start its services in the next hour.

Director Viliame Cavubati said they are now just waiting for the certificate clearance from Maritime Safety Authority of Fiji.

Cavubati said the vessel is also fully booked.

He said they replaced the equipment that was removed from the vessel after the government gave them $90,000 earlier in the week.

Meanwhile, police are still investigating the matter in relation to the navigational equipment worth $80,000 that was removed from the Lau Trader by a former engineer after he was allegedly directed by a former shareholder.
