Landowners are not forgotten and their concerns are a priority that needed to be addressed.

This has been highlighted by the Minister for Fisheries and Forestry Kalaveti Ravu while meeting with Fiji Pine landowners of Bua at the Naulumatua House in Nabouwalu yesterday.

More than 50 landowners from seven of the nine districts in the province were present at the meeting, voicing their concerns surrounding Fiji Pine leases on their mataqali land.

Ravu says the Ministry with other relevant stakeholders would work together to map a way forward and provide solutions to their concerns.

The Minister continues his tour of the Northern Division today.
