Labasa thumps Tavua 6-0 in Premier League

Labasa FC delivered an impressive 6-0 win over Tavua FC in the second round of the Extra Supermarket Premier League.

Rusiate Doidoi, Melvin Mani and Jimson Abana (scoring three goals) sealed the victory, with Tavua's own goal completing the scoreline.

Labasa led 2-0 at halftime.

While speaking to fijivillage News, Labasa coach , Master Alvin Chand says he had prepared the team throughout the week and the players executed the plan well on the field.

When asked about the absence of Christopher Wasasala, the coach says although Wasasala was not present, Islander stepped up and played well.

He wishes Wasasala the best with the national team but expressed confidence in his squad's abilities.

In other matches, Navua FC will face Nasinu FC at 3pm today at Uprising Sports Centre in Deuba, Nadi FC will play Suva FC at 3pm tomorrow at Kings Charles Park in Nadi and BA FC will play Nadroga FC at 3pm at the Fiji Football Academy in BA.
