Labasa residents facing water cuts after heavy downpour and flooding

Thousands of people across Labasa are facing low pressure to no water as the Water Authority of Fiji says due to the heavy downpour and flooding they had to close the main valve at the Nabouwalu Intake as a safety measure.

WAF says you should expect low pressure to no water until further notice.

Affected areas include Bua Provincial Quarters, Namulomulo, Raviravi, Namau, Wairiki Mill, Navave Village, Vunirara and Nanuku Settlement.

Call 5777 if you need a water carting truck to come to your area.
