The Land Transport Authority has issued 5029 Traffic Infringement Notices for January and February this year.
LTA says some of the major offences include using a motor vehicle contrary to licence conditions, drivers using unregistered vehicles, non-conforming window tinting, drivers not adhering to road markings, use of mobile phones when driving, speeding, drivers and passengers not using seat belts, overloading of vehicles and illegal parking of vehicles.
LTA says they are concerned at the growing number of traffic infringement notices been given.
