The Land Transport Authority and Pacific Transport are warning the public to beware of a scam currently circulating on Facebook.
LTA says the fraudulent post falsely claims that Pacific Transport is celebrating its anniversary by offering a card that provides six months of free travel for only $5.13 is false and misleading.
They say there is no such smart pass bus card issued by LTA for that purpose, and no partnership between LTA and any bus operator regarding such a promotion.
Pacific Transport says they condemn this malicious act and wishes to clarify that they have no association with such deceptive promotions.
Hey say they do not tolerate any attempts to misrepresent their brand.
