Access to services for Fijians living with disabilities is expected to be enhanced as the Permanent Secretary for Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation, Jennifer Poole today received a $2,000 cheque from the Life Insurance Corporation of India in Fiji.

This will assist the National Council for Persons with Disabilities.

The donation comes as LICI celebrates their 65th anniversary.

Poole says this will help in making Fiji a more inclusive country.

The General Manager Fiji Operations of Life Insurance Corporation of India, YS Ashok says LICI is happy to be associated with the National Council for Persons with Disabilities and will always support such welfare organisations which tirelessly work for the underprivileged and vulnerable sections.
