Kuruvoli returns to Super Rugby with Ratuva hoping to debut from the bench
Drua halfback, Simione Kuruvoli

The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua team has arrived in Melbourne and settled in well, and this weekend during the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific Super Round in Melbourne, nippy halfback Simione Kuruvoli will be making his return.

Kuruvoli who has been named on the bench, was out of the entire 2023 season due to a shoulder injury.

He was able to recover in time and help the Fiji Water Flying Fijians in France reach the 2023 RWC quarterfinals.

Coach Mick Byrne has maintained his front row and backline with one tactical change at lock, bringing in former Sangam Sadhu Kuppuswamy Memorial College student, Mesake Vocevoce at locks.

New wing signing Junior Ratuva will be hoping to make his debut from the bench tonight.

The Drua will play Moana Pasifika at 6 tonight.

In other games, the Crusaders will face the Waratahs at 8.35 tonight, while the Chiefs will meet the Brumbies at 3pm tomorrow, with the Hurricanes and the Reds facing off at 5.30pm tomorrow.

In games last night, the Blues overpowered the Highlanders 37-29 while the Rebels came from behind to beat the Force 48-34.
