Kumari appointed new Fiji Sugarcane Growers Council Chairperson

Reshmi Kumari has been appointed as the new Chairperson of the Fiji Sugarcane Growers Council.

She has replaced Sanjay Kumar.

The appointment was made by the Prime Minister and Minister of the Sugar Industry Voreqe Bainimarama pursuant to the Sugar Industry Act 1984.

Kumari who hails from a cane farming family in Tavua holds a Master of Arts majoring in Economics from the University of Tsukuba in Japan.
