Vodafone Fijiana XV backrower Manuqalo Komaitai says playing at the Women's Rugby World Cup this year is definitely the highlight of her year.

Komaitai highlighted this after winning the 2025 Army Sports Awards Champion saying she never thought that she would be able to, one day represent her country, let alone play in the World Cup.

From the islands of Fiji to the historic grounds of Sandhurst, she stands as a warrior of two worlds.

From being the first Fijian female soldier in the Irish Guards, Manuqalo Noame Komaitai is not only making waves on the rugby field—she’s also breaking barriers in one of the world’s most iconic military units.
