The Permanent Secretary for Rural & Maritime Development and Disaster Management David Kolitagane has resigned from his position to enable him to pursue a new career opportunity within the Government.
Public Service Commission Chair Vishnu Mohan has thanked Kolitagane for his valuable contributions in various ministries during his seven year spell as a Permanent Secretary and wishes him well in his new endeavour.
Pending the appointment of a formal replacement for Kolitagane, the Permanent Secretary for Defence, National Security and Policing Manasa Lesuma, will act as Permanent Secretary for Rural & Maritime Development and Disaster Management.
