As the families of the Fiji 7s men’s team await the arrival of our Paris Olympic Silver medalist from France tomorrow, Coach Osea Kolinisau shared a heartfelt appreciation message to his wife and mother of their kids, Tavu Fa for the sacrifices she had made to help him fulfill his dream of coaching Fiji.

In a post on social media, Kolinisau shared his thoughts and appreciation to his wife who, he says, has been the backbone of his success.

He says Fa sacrificed her dreams to help the Olympian achieve his goals.

He says they made a huge decision to move back to Fiji from the United States of America since Fa wanted to pursue her studies and work in the States.

Kolinisau says that looking after their eldest son who is autistic has its challenges and for her to keep their family together by doing all the heavy lifting in his absence has been a blessing.

He also highlighted that his job as a coach runs easily when he feels the huge support from her and the kids.

Kolinisau says he would not be where he is today without his supportive wife, and he is looking forward to more of her kind gestures as they navigate life together as a family.
