2016 Olympic 7s Gold medal-winning captain and newly appointed Fiji Airways National Men’s 7s coach, Osea Kolinisau, arrived in the country this morning.
Kolinisau will be taking over the coaching role from Ben Gollings, who was removed last week under the FRU Board of Trustees and Management decision.
The FRU Interim Chair, Peter Mazey, had made it clear that the decision to remove Gollings was not made under duress but through due process and consultations with experts within the rugby fraternity.
According to Mazey, Kolinisau will be starting in his new role as the Fiji Men's 7s coach today.
Kolinisau will be working with the national 7s team as they look forward to the Singapore 7s from the 3rd to the 5th of May this year.
