Sacked computer teacher, Kishore Kumar has been granted bail however he has also claimed in court that he was assaulted when he was in remand.

Kumar appeared today before Chief Magistrate Usaia Ratuvili for his bail application ruling.

The matter was stood down earlier in the day as none of his sureties were present.

Police Prosecutor Inspector Jiten Singh told the court that they will not object to bail because Kumar was assaulted at the remand centre.

Kumar's bail conditions includes for him to deactivate all his social media pages and for him to report at the Valelevu Police Station every Saturday.

Chief Magistrate Ratuvili also told Kumar to lodge a police report as he had visible injuries. He confirmed that he has already lodged a report.

Kumar has been charged with six counts of indecently annoying a person and one count of criminal intimidation.

It is alleged that on 31st July, 3rd August, 9th August, 13th August, 21st August and 23rd August this year, Kumar falsely claimed on his facebook page, Kishore Kumar Publications that there was a porn video of Lenora Qereqeretabua.
