The Kings Highway between Wainivula Road and Cunningham Road will open at 4am tomorrow and work has not been affected by heavy rain in Suva this afternoon.
Fiji Roads Authority CEO Kamal Prasad says sealing works will most likely be done in the weekend however, the road will be open to traffic.
The Water Authority has repaired the sewerage pipe that compromised the area of the road.
The area has been filled with concrete which is now curing.
However, expect traffic jam to continue along Kings Highway today as the Suva bound lane between Wainivula Road and Cunningham Road is still closed.
