On the eve of his return from a concussion, Fijian-born Bulldogs star Viliame Kikau reportedly suffered a pectoral injury during their training and could face two months on the sideline.

Bulldogs General Manager Phil Gould told Wide World of Sports that Kikau will require surgery on Monday and is looking at 8-10 weeks out of the game.

Kikau had been named on Tuesday to make his comeback against the Eels after missing Rounds 5 and 6, but coach Cameron Ciraldo will be forced to do another reshuffle of his pack.

The Bulldogs will face the Parramatta Eels this Sunday at 6.30pm.
