The Fiji Roads Authority has confirmed that improvement works on Khalsa Road are progressing smoothly.
While speaking to fijivillage News, the FRA says drainage and jetting works are proceeding smoothly alongside the scheduled pavement works.
They further say the current weather condition is a challenge, however, they are ensuring that no road rehabilitation works are done during such conditions.
They add that the project will construct a new pedestrian footpath in the areas where safety improvements are needed.
FRA says the project is scheduled to be completed in four weeks time, weather permitting.
