The Permanent Secretary for Ministry of iTaukei Affairs Naipote Katonitabua has resigned.
Chairman of the Public Service Commission Vishnu Mohan confirmed this as Katonitabua cited personal reasons for his decision to resign.
He has proceeded on leave and his resignation will take effect at the conclusion of the leave on 31 January 2019.
The PSC with the agreement of the Prime Minister, has appointed Meleti Bainimarama who is the current Permanent Secretary for Rural and Maritime Development, to act as the Permanent Secretary for iTaukei Affairs.
