Kasilia Colavoli continues to grow in the field of early childhood education

Kasilia Colavoli has been an early childhood educator for the past 20 years and believes educators play essential and effective roles in communities.

Colavoli has been teaching students at the USP Educare and says her passion for teaching has grown because it influences students foundation in the learning process and contributes to their development.

She says learning and studying the different theorists, the importance of planning and implementing for holistic development and the evaluations and assessments have prepared her well.

She says USP has raised the quality of her teaching and she will continue to upskill her knowledge.

Colavoli says the Diploma in Early Childhood and Care programme taught her about childhood development and with vast resources she was able to do further reading on theorists and methodology of early childhood teachings.

She encourages those who are keen to join the workforce as an Early Childhood educator, USP offers programmes under its School of Pacific Arts, Culture and Education (SPACE) that offer two programmes of study, the Diploma in ECEC and Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood & Care.
