Vodafone Fiji Bati player Vueti Karawalevu enjoyed his debut game when they thrashed Italy 60-4 in their Rugby League World Cup match.

Karawalevu says he enjoys playing beside experienced players and is looking forward to playing with them on Sunday.

He also dedicated the win to his family for their support and prayers.

Fiji National Rugby League Chairman Viliame Naupoto says the 19-year-old is part of the Fiji Bati build-up plan to the next World Cup in 2025.

The Fiji Bati will face Scotland at 4am Sunday.
