Kapawale murder case final judgement set for 22nd May

State lawyer, Triveshni Sharma has made the final submission to the High Court, arguing that Tevita Kapawale should be convicted as there was substantial evidence provided by the State witnesses.

Kapawale is accused of murdering five crew members on the FV Tiro 2 in 2022.

His lawyer, Tobia Ravuniwa argued in their submission that there are too many inconsistencies in the case and therefore their client is innocent.

The High Court has set the judgement date for 22nd of next month.
