The Kadavu Choir group has been invited to the United Kingdom for a Fiji Cultural Road show exhibition.

Chairman Jone Raikabula said Fiji High Commissioner to the UK Solo Mara invited the group to try and embrace the value, tradition and culture to the Fijian community who have settled there.

Raikabula said that many Fijians living in the UK requested for a choir from Fiji to come over in order for them to showcase Fiji’s tradition to Fijian children in the UK.

According to Raikabula, the Choir will also be taking part in five road shows with one at a British Army Base.

He added the Fijian Community in the UK has paid for the 15 member choir’s expenses which depart on the 13th of October and return on the 8th of November.
