Juvenile arrested with two adults for drinking liquor at a school compound in Ba

Ten arrests were recorded over the last 48 hours for breach of curfew restrictions.

During the first 24 hour period, five arrests were recorded in the Western Division and one in the Southern Division.

Acting Police Commissioner, Rusiate Tudravu says two adults and a juvenile were arrested as they were drinking liquor at a school compound in Ba, while another juvenile was arrested in Tavua near Tagitagi.

He says the lone arrest recorded in the Southern Division involved a 20-year-old man who was found moving around in Valelevu. Tudravu adds from 11pm to 4am this morning, five arrests were recorded, three in the Central and two in the Southern Division.

The two arrests recorded in the Southern Division were made in Valelevu.

The three arrests recorded in the Central Division involved two men and one woman who were found drunk in Suva.
