Suva High Court Judge Justice Thushara Rajasinghe will sum up the case of an 82-year-old man next Monday who is charged with four counts of rape.
The assessors will then retire behind closed doors to deliberate on their verdict.
It is alleged the elderly man raped his 11 and 8-year-old grand-daughters in a settlement in Tailevu.
The alleged incidents occurred in March 2017 and December 2016.
