Justice Quentin Loh re-appointed as a Judge of Appeal of the Supreme Court of Fiji

The President of the Singapore International Commercial Court, Justice Quentin Loh’s appointment as a Judge of Appeal of the Supreme Court of Fiji on a part-time basis has been extended for another three years with effect from 13th August 2021.

Justice Loh was first appointed a Judge of Appeal of the Supreme Court of Fiji on a part-time basis for a period of three years in 2018.

He sat with Judges of the Supreme Court of Fiji and heard commercial and civil cases.

Singapore’s Chief Justice Sundaresh Menon says this is an excellent opportunity for them to contribute to upholding the rule of law internationally and is a reflection of both the standing and calibre of the Singapore Judiciary and the excellent relations that our two judiciaries enjoy.

Fiji’s Acting Chief Justice Kamal Kumar says Justice Loh served the Fiji judiciary with utmost integrity and dignity in the last three years.
