High Court Judge Justice Daniel Goundar has acquitted a 45 year old man who was charged with the rape of his 63 year old mother.
The man was charged with two counts of rape.
The alleged incidents happened in Kadavu between 2016 and 2017.
The three assessors had earlier found the man guilty of one count of rape and not guilty for the other count of rape.
