A two weeks swimming programme has been put together by ‘Just Swim Fiji’ to keep children busy while on the school holidays and help raise awareness on drowning in the country.
Programme Coordinator, Trisa Dunn says that while the activity will be fun it will also be rewarding as children will learn life-saving skills.
She also stressed that this will benefit children throughout their life adding that there are also programmes set for adults.
8 Certified Swimming instructors will be taking classes in the two weeks holidays.
The classes will begin at 10am next Tuesday at the Olympic Swimming Center.
