Junior Japan has won the World Rugby Pacific Challenge after beating the Swire Shipping Fijian Warriors 21-12 at the ANZ Stadium this evening.

It is the first time Junior Japan has won the competition.

Junior Japan led 14-7 at half time.

Epeli Momo scored the first try only minutes into the match.

The conversion by Simione Kuruvoli was successful.
