Judgement deferred for former senior executive of a publicly listed company

Chief Magistrate Usaia Ratuvili has deferred the judgement of the former senior executive of a publicly listed company.

In this case the former senior executive is facing one count of indecent assault.

The alleged incident happened in 2019.

Chief Magistrate Ratuvili told the court that he is not ready with the judgement because he received submissions from the defence just yesterday.

He had earlier ruled that the former senior executive had a case to answer.

The judgement will now be delivered on the 28th of this month.
