Japanese Top League postponed to next month after 62 players and staff positive tests
Beauden Barrett is set to return to NZ to play for the ABs after his stint in Japan.

Japanese fans will have to wait until next month to get their first look at All Black Beauden Barrett in the Top League, after 62 players and staff across six teams tested positive for Covid-19.

Of the 62 cases, seven are from Barrett’s Suntory Sungoliath side, 13 are from the former All Blacks captain Kieran Read’s Toyota Verblitz side while 24 are at the Canon Eagles.

Brodie Retallick, and former All Blacks Ben Smith and Aaron Cruden play for the Steelers, while former All Black and Crusader Matt Todd is one of a bunch of Kiwis at Toshiba.
