James O'Connor is expected to return to the Wallabies starting 15 when Dave Rennie reveals his team for the final Test of the year tomorrow.

O'Connor who suffered a foot injury says he would be fit and ready to steer the Wallabies to a season-ending win against Argentina at Bankwest Stadium.

He says he is very happy with how his game is progressing and also how the team has been growing.

The Wallabies have to beat Argentina by 101 points to win the Tri-Nations.

Argentina on the other hand has to win by a 93-point margin.

The Wallabies meet Argentina at 8.45pm Saturday.
