Jacks of Fiji will soon start the construction of a new garment factory at Baker Lane in Nadi Town.

The company’s garment factory in Nadi was destroyed in a fire in January this year.

General Manager Avinesh Prasad says that they are awaiting Nadi Town Council’s approval and the preliminary works are expected to start soon.

He says that they are targeting to finish the construction of their new garment factory by the end of next year.

Jacks of Fiji’s garment factory employs around 185 people and they are currently situated at a temporary location in Nadi.
