It is a matter of protocol and I wanted to come and meet my line Minister and inform him that I have officially taken over the office as the Commissioner and I wanted to get his advice at the ministerial level.
This was highlighted by the new Police Commissioner Rusiate Tudravu after meeting the Minister for Policing, Ioane Naivalurua.
Tudravu says he is aware of his constitutional duties as a Police Commissioner and the Minister has landed his support for him.
He says the force needs to restrategize on the things they have to look into and the things on the ground.
Tudravu reiterates the security and political landscape has changed a lot and the force has to be cautious of that.
