Elusive centre Semi Radradra who displayed an outstanding performance coming off the bench in the second half against Tonga will captain the Fiji Water Flying Fijians tomorrow.

Radradra says it is an honour and privilege for him tohave the coaching staff trusting him to lead the team and he is really looking forward to playing with the young and experienced players.

Head Coach Simon Raiwalui has rested skipper Waisea Nayacalevu and has handed the role to Radradra who had led the national team previously.

The Flying Fijians skipper says they have a big group so everyone has the chance so it’s now time for them to prove they are not new to rugby but they just maybe new in playing for the Flying Fijians and he thinks they will do the job.

He further says to expect a mouth-watering battle when they face Samoa.

Radradra says he is looking forward to playing alongside Iosefo Masi in the midfield who will make his debut for the Flying Fijians.

He adds he has played with Masi a few times, especially in the 7s and starting with him this week is not new for him as they have been playing together for a long time and it’s a dream come true for him as well with one of his “KAI”.

The Flying Fijians will take on Samoa at 2pm tomorrow in Apia, Samoa.
