It is a numbers game and I welcome Rabuka to join us - Narube

Unity Fiji Party Leader Savenaca Narube says elections and politics is a numbers game and he welcomes people like Sitiveni Rabuka to join Unity Fiji.

When questioned by fijivillage on the party's earlier stand that they will not have anyone involved in a coup, Narube says when the party was formed they did not allow any coup leaders to take any leadership role in the party.

He says a few former military officers have joined their party now.

Narube then said that this is important for them leading up to the elections.

The Unity Fiji Leader says when you are in politics it is best to think of a political party that will resonate with the people and the people will vote you in.

He says if people want to remain in politics, having the number of votes is important as it is a numbers game.

Narube says the party's door is open to every individual including Rabuka.

Meanwhile, Rabuka had highlighted after their Management Board meeting last Friday that he plans to contest the general elections under the SODELPA banner and he will not form a new party.
