Police say their investigations into the road accident which caused the death of a 10-year-old girl last Tuesday is currently focused on the driver.
The girl allegedly crossed the road near the Yaka Street junction in Nasinu when she was hit by the vehicle.
When asked if Police will look into the issue of parental negligence, Police Spokesperson Jokatama Qio says their focus right now is on the driver.
He says the driver will be interviewed today and then they will determine the next course of action.
