Investigations continue into Beachcomber Resort bure fire

Investigations continue in relation to a fire that destroyed a bure at the Beachcomber Island Resort in the Mamanucas.

The incident happened on Friday and an official at the Resort also confirmed the incident saying there were no major damages.

Hundreds of young New Zealanders who were on Spring Break were evacuated from the island when the incident occurred.

The group also included New Zealand Prime Minister John Key’s son Max.

No one was injured in the incident.
