Police are now gathering information surrounding the death of a man whose body was discovered in the Waidalice River in Korovou, Tailevu yesterday.
Spokesperson Ana Naisoro said they are still looking for a white rental car registration LR1709 which was hired by the man in Nadi to come to Suva.
His body was identified by a relative.
The deceased is Nadi resident, David Reddy who left his Nadi home on Saturday to drop a friend in Tailevu.
He was reported missing by his brother on Sunday at the Korovou Police Station.
Police say foul play has not been ruled out as investigators await the post mortem examination.
Reddy is survived by his wife and a two year old daughter.
He will be laid to rest at Nadovi cemetery at 5.30pm today.
