Churchill Park in Lautoka is expected to have a new look and will be up to Super Rugby standards to host three home games for the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua this year.

Head of Commercial and Marketing Shane Hussein says Churchill Park is getting uplifted, and people can see infrastructure upgrades later this month into February.

He says the upgrades will ensure that the Park meets the Super Rugby standards.

He adds they will be putting extra seating at Churchill Park, and this year, it won’t be a "first come, first serve" seating system as the seats will be numbered.

The Fijian Drua will have six home matches in Fiji, where three of those six matches will be held at Churchill Park. The three games are against defending champions, the Crusaders, the Blues and Moana Pasifika.

Meanwhile, the Drua will meet the Rebels in a pre-season trial match next Saturday at Prince Charles Park, Nadi.
