Independent committee to assess e-ticketing system in Fiji

An independent committee will carry out an assessment of the e-ticketing system in Fiji.

The committee will be headed by the Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission.

A government statement says following constructive dialogue between the government, the Fiji Bus Operators Association, bus drivers, Vodafone Fiji and LTA, all stakeholders have come up with a unified approach to further enhance their respective service deliveries to all Fijians.

Acting Prime Minister and Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed‑Khaiyum who was part of the talanoa session has applauded the stakeholders for their meaningful contribution towards modernising the bus industry.
