“The rape of women and sexual violence on our children is not because of leadership.”
This is the message by the Minister for Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation Mereseini Vuniwaqa while responding to a comment made by SODELPA MP Ro Filipe Tuisawau in parliament that there have been more rapes under the leadership of the FijiFirst.
The Minister for Women says the government has brought about laws, policies and initiatives that encourage the increased reporting of violence against women and children.
