Interim Fijian Drua CEO Brian Thorburn says the inclusion of Nadi loose-forward Vilive Miramira will serve as inspiration for all players in the domestic competition.

Miramira has been a standout player on the local scene for Nadi in last year’s Skipper Cup and Farebrother Challenge.

Thorburn says Miramira is a pure domestic product whose hard work and consistency rewarded him with a professional Super Rugby contract.

Miramira is one of the seven new signings for the Drua including Mesulame Dolokoto, Teti Tela, Haereiti Hetet, Tuidraki Samusamuvodre, Zuriel Togiatama and Viliame Rarasea.

The Drua will leave for Australia next week.
